Sarnia Energy Park Helps Lower Manufacturing Costs
Sarnia, Ontario – August 17, 2010 – With the Sarnia Regional Cogeneration Plant as its anchor tenant, Bluewater Energy Park is now able to offer new tenants electricity at “behind-the-fence” rates. Bluewater Energy Park project manager, Brian Heaman says that the final stage of remediation is now underway at the Vidal Street Site, left vacant when Dow Chemical ceased manufacturing in Sarnia, Ontario. Over the past two years the 108.5 hectare (268 acre) site has undergone significant ecological rehabilitation to address the environmental responsibilities of its former owner. Facelift for Sarnia Energy Park River Centre
Work is underway at the Bluewater Energy Park River Centre as Solutions4CO2 Inc.develops its 50 thousand square foot Global Operations and Research and Development Headquaters. Solutions4CO2 was formed in September 2010 to design, build, operate and maintain industrial solutions to capture waste gas and water streams and process them into value added co-products. Over the next couple of months Solutions4CO2 will complete renovations on a suite of offices and laboratories in the centre section of the River Centre.
